INTERVIEW | Haidar Ali Tipu Zinan

Haidar Ali Tipu Zinan is a Colombian artist. His work focuses on exploring and producing pieces that revolve around the archetypes present in art history and the concept of time. Each of his creations responds to a unique quest and his research often leads him to large-scale projects where the bodily experience with the piece becomes significant within a spatial, material, and symbolic context.

INTERVIEW | RUNA

RUNA (aka Rute Norte) lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal. She is now finishing a Master's Degree in Painting, at Fine Arts Faculty, University of Lisbon. Her paintings can either refer to a memory, or be simple ideas and concepts that pass at the moment. As an artist-traveller, she writes travel chronicles accompanied by photos and tells a story through this trimediality: text, photography, and painting.

Rebecca Weisman is a conceptually driven maker and thinker who makes deconstructed films of sculptures that are then re-embedded into the sculptures creating dreamy installations with layers upon layers of visual narrative and meaning. Her project Skin Ego centers on an immense, eight by twenty foot sculptural reconstruction of a section of a Finback whale, modeled after a photograph found on the internet of a real-life stranded whale.
